Senator John McCain slaps Trump over Tariffs

Following the recent attacks on taxes and trade policies by president Trump got it hot recently when he was slapped by John McCain over the effects of these policies on our country.

According to Trump ‘’China has been asked to develop a plan for the year of a One Billion Dollar reduction in their massive Trade Deficit with the United States. Our relationship with China has been a very good one, and we look forward to seeing what ideas they come back with. We must act soon!’’

The recent development have showed that no U.S. president is above correction, it is quite arguable why McCain would take such a stand in crucial issues like those pointed out by Trump.

In one of his tweets, President Trump explained the consequential effects of U.S. polices over taxes and trade if not reversed or at least adjusted to reduce the deficits on trades. He pointed out that jobs were being lost in U.S. due to these polices.

McCain however disagreed with this new strategy and rather looked at it as something that will bridge the U.S. relationships with their allies.

He wrote ‘’The President’s sweeping tariffs will only serve to hurt American workers and consumers, and alienate us from our most important allies and trading partners.’’

Though Trump is yet to reply Senator John McCain, but there seems to be quite a lot going on between the two, as they disagree in most cases.
